and they don't realize it until they are healing from facelift.
A French surgeon examined photos of 120 subjects and found that over 98% of them "presented a greater left malar width, defined by a larger zygion–midline distance on the left side. Only 2 (1.7%) patients showed the opposite configuration with a wider right side. Clinically, the left side tended to appear fuller, more stable, and more mature, whereas the right side appeared narrower, more elevated, and more juvenile"
