Steri-Strips are paper-based adhesive strips used for wound closure. Though there have been reports of skin shear and wound dehiscence when used on the body, research has found that steri-strips can be used on "low-tension, superficial incisions, such as those on the face, eyelids, nose, and ears" (Rouhani et al, 2025).
